Yet another tricky night for Spurs as Macedonian side Shkëndija gave a headache to the London giants with an equalizer in the second half.

Spurs started with a very strong lineup as Mourinho said it would be foolish to take this ties lightly as Harry Kane and club captain Lloris were the only expected starters on the bench . Spurs started with a delightful start as Lamela calmly finished with his weak foot on the 5th minute.

It looked as though spurs would kill the game early on but despite controlling most of the possession they couldn’t score an important second goal. Then after some lovely passing moves around our D-box Shkëndija‘s Nafiu scored a belter on top corner making the game 1-1. Mourinho immediately reacted with couple substitution .Sonny scored after 70th minute to make the score 2-1 for spurs and created a delightful header for Kane to score and finish the game with 11 minutes left on the clock. Ahead of the game there was a controversial allegation about the goal post being 5cm smaller than the default size and replaced .

Once again the partnership of Kane , Son and their impact was very important as the pair has been involved in 9 of the 10 goals spurs at scored so far this season.
Involvement of Gio locelso in the pitch was again very vital as his injection of drive, desire and creative play seems to revive Tottenham’s game play.
Ndombele played a good controlling role in midfield and was surprisingly running up and down the pitch non-stop and finished the whole 90 minutes(only second time under Jose), he was one of the best player on the pitch and every spurs supporter will agree with the growing role of the frenchmen.
Sanchez-Toby partnership didn’t kept a clean sheet but they seem to well compliment each other in the current defensive rooster of the club.
Aurier started for the first time this season and looked comfortable, if he stays this season the right side of the backline will have proper rotation and competition.
Dele was recalled to the lineup after 2 games, but substituted before the hour mark .

With 4 games coming next week against very tough opposition starting with Newcastle , Chelsea, Maccabi and ManUtd within 8 days before the international break it will be very important but difficult for the team and will give signal to rest of the campaign specially in knockout cup ties .
