Last match
Goals from Harry Kane and Tanguy Ndombele didn’t only secure the Europa League progression but also helped us to avoid Europa League humiliaton from the hands of Lokomotiv Plovdiv.

Enjoying the ball possession above 70% for most of the time and coming close several times we were struggling to break the deadlock. Suddenly the game changed in favour of Lokomotiv Plovdiv as the goal from Georgi Minchev gave them a breakthrough in the 71st minute of the game and it looked like we were in verge of elimination.

But the game turned its side as Lokomotiv players lost their heads in the match defining minutes and were reduced to nine men.

In 80th minute Kane levelled the game from the spot and five minutes later Tanguy Ndombele scored the match winning goal to save the day.

Tanguy winning the coach

Tanguy came from the bench, his game was improved incomparison to his last game and the comparison was supported by his match winning goal.

After the game Jose didn’t show any hesitation to praise the frenchman,
Mourinho said in his post-match press conference: Tanguy is in a process of evolution,”

“Last season he wasn’t. Last season he was stuck in a situation where I couldn’t see evolution. In this moment he’s training very, very well.

“He’s recovering from his injury, he’s recovering physically and today he gave us what we needed in this last 30 minutes.

“In this moment, I believe in Tanguy. I never doubted his quality. Never. I doubted in some moments his motivation and commitment and professional attitude.

“In this moment I believe in him. Today we made this decision together to not start the game because he also feels that he needs a bit more but in this moment I think that Tanguy can do well for us.”

Seeing at the comments from Jose Mourinho it proves that Tanguy has won Jose Mourinho`s heart in the recent days.

May be its Tanguy time.
