Really a game of halves as we have seen this season . We were played off by chelsea through the first half and gave them more space to control the game but came out from the break with one hell of a dominating display against a very-very strong Chelsea side and deservedly topped off with a shootout win .

As indicated by Jose in earlier conferences spurs started with some fresh players ,with Dier and Lloris the only starters from last game and the inclusion of Dier proved to be key as he had one of the best performance under Mourinho and awarded MOTM award. The inclusion of club captain Lloris was to broaden the mentality of the team to give a message that this is a very important game.

 Chelsea who also had turbulent start to the season started with a very strong lineup with Goalkeeper Mendy making his debut and had a good outing overall.

Chelsea started the game dominating the ball very much but failed to create chances until one was gifted by spurs’ debutant Reguilön but mended the error with scintilating display and provided assist to Lamela’s equaliser in the 83rd minute .

Spurs had a strong bench and inlucion of Kane, Hojbjerg and Lucas helped to increase the tempo and dominate the game

-The most memorable scene was when Dier went to potty break and was followed by Mourinho to hurry him up but Eric was phenomenal today after some dodgy displays previously.
-Debutant Reguilön had a shaky start as his error lead to Chelsea’s goal but thia was really a promising debut from a young spanish international in a derby with a assist for equaliser as well as a chance to score  and a superb tackle against Hudson-odoi

-Erik Lamela was never taking a breath and almost always naggling and running around and scored a deserving equaliser, he certainly is loved by Mourinho ,and the london derbies certainly means more to the Argentian, if he can thread passes at right time we have a very assured and quality player 

-Ndombele again played whole 90 and looks press resistant creative-dembele as he looks to settle to the team as well as partner Sissoko running and covering grounds well but lacks that finesse on the final third

-After the restart last season Aurier is starting to be better and provide a very quality fight at the right back role and he provided the width and athleticism today .

-Tanganga, Gedson, Reguilön and Aurier got important minutes to their legs and be match fit when called upon
-Notable absntees were Dele(probably out of form),Locelso(Rest for europa),sessegnon(rumor of possible loan)
